Required Education, Technical Capability and Other Career Qualification:

Prepares daily QC reports and monitors monthly observations on rejects. Prepares various reports as may be required.

Required Education, Technical Capability and Other Career Qualification:
Licensed Chemical Engineering, Chemist or Laboratory Technology.
At least one year experience in quality control work.
Conducts sales calls in assigned areas. Solicit orders. Follow-up. Ensuring to achieve targets on time.
Does prospecting of new/potential accounts. Prepares proposals and quotations in coordination with Finance for costing and discounts. Provides superior with market information necessary to maximize sales opportunities in assigned territory.

Plans, supervise and controls the supply of materials needed to meet production and operation requirements of the company.
Monitors staff activities in the process daily requisitions, expedite deliveries, resolve quality issues and adjust supply chain as required (e.g. purchase orders, contracts, bids and budgetary expenditures; deliveries, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring compliance with established purchasing procedures.
Evaluates and reviews all purchase requests and purchase orders for local and imported materials. Places orders and negotiates with suppliers on delivery schedules and other conditions necessary (i.e. quality problems). Maintain relations with suppliers.
Communicates with other management staff, vendors and contractors for the purpose of fulfilling operational needs by coordinating activities and programs, resolving issues and conflicts and exchanging information for the purpose of establishing the best sources for needed supplies.
Conducts inquiries, interviews vendors and analyzes price and market trends, and under the direction of the Vice President/Controller, negotiates pricing, lead time, payment terms, purchase agreements and terms with vendors for the purpose of purchasing goods that works to the best interest of the organization.
Prepares quarterly requirements of materials based on monthly inventory and production schedules.
Advises finance department on the timing of the opening of letters of credit.
Coordinates with the Production Manager for the production requirements of materials per month.
Coordinates with the Asst. Marketing Manager regarding product development which involves sourcing of local suppliers.
Organizes activities of the department. Orient, train and guide subordinates in the performance of duties. Monitors compliance by subordinates to job duties and assignments. Evaluates and appraises the performance of subordinates and recommends appropriate action.
Fulfill and service the product requirement inputs of the internal customers in the Sales and Marketing departments and top-level management directives.
Monitor and coordinates a variety of activities (e.g. warehouse operations, delivery of items, maintenance contracts, sale of surplus and obsolete supplies, year-end closing, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring compliance with established regulations and maximizing the company’s resources.
Monitor and report status of material inventory including waste, rejects, returns and materials for disposal.
Research and Development
Conduct product sourcing, supplier accreditation and coordination with the objective of strengthening the product portfolio offering of the organization.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of concept studies & product potential for management review, analysis and consideration of approval.

Conduct informal survey of market prices at retail and whole sale trade.
Conduct comparative study of product offering under development versus available items in the market.
